Support from international financial institutions is needed on climate change issues: Shehbaz Sharif

وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کا کہنا ہے کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے بین الاقومی مالیاتی اداروں کی معاونت درکار ہے۔
وزیر اعظم سے انٹرنیشنل ٹریڈ یونین کنفیڈریشن کے سیکریٹری جنرل لوک ٹرائینگل نے اسلام آباد میں ملاقات کی۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے انٹرنیشنل ٹریڈ یونین کنفڈریشن کی عالمی سطح پر افرادی قوت کے حقوق کے لیے کوششوں کو سراہا اور کہا کہ پاکستان انٹرنیشنل لیبر آرگنائزیشن کے ساتھ مزدوروں اور کارکنوں کے حقوق کے لیے کام کر رہا ہے۔ان کا کہنا ہے کہ حکومت ایمپلائز اولڈ ایج بینیفٹ اور ورکر ویلفیئر فنڈ کا دائرہ کار بڑھا رہی ہے، نوجوانوں کو ہنر مند بنانے کے کئی تربیتی پروگرام کرا رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان موسمیاتی تبدیلی سے سب سے زیادہ متاثر ہونے والے ممالک میں شامل ہے، 2022ء کے سیلاب سے پاکستان کو 30 ارب ڈالرز کے نقصانات اٹھانے پڑے۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں سے مزدوروں کو روزگار کے بہت سے مسائل پیش آئے، انہیں نقصانات برداشت کرنا پڑا، اس کے حل کے لیے بین الاقومی مالیاتی اداروں کی مالی معاونت درکار ہے۔

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that the support of international financial institutions is needed to solve the problems of climate change.
The Prime Minister was met by the Secretary General of the International Trade Union Confederation, Luc Triangle, in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the International Trade Union Confederation for the rights of the workforce at the global level and said that Pakistan is working with the International Labor Organization for the rights of laborers and workers. He said that the government is expanding the scope of the Employees Old Age Benefit and Worker Welfare Fund, and is conducting several training programs to make the youth skilled.
He said that Pakistan is among the countries most affected by climate change, Pakistan had to bear losses of 30 billion dollars due to the 2022 floods.
Shahbaz Sharif said that due to climate change, laborers faced many employment problems, they had to bear losses, and financial support from international financial institutions is required to solve this.
