Cancer is a treatable disease, prevention is possible with proper precautions: Maryam Nawaz

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نوازشریف نے کہا ہے کہ کینسر قابل علاج مرض ہے اور مناسب احتیاط سے بچاؤ بھی ممکن ہے۔
کینسر سے بچاؤکے عالمی دن پر اپنے پیغام میں وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز کا کہنا تھا کہ کینسر کی تشخیص اور علاج کے بارے میں عوامی شعور و آگاہی اشد ضروری ہے، پاکستان میں کینسر کے باعث ہونے والی شرح اموات تشویشناک ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کینسر سے بچاؤ کیلئے ہر سطح پر ہر فرد کو اپنا کردارادا کرنا ہوگا، کینسر کے باعث اپنی ماں کو کھونے کاغم کبھی نہیں بھول سکتی، کینسر کے علاج کیلئے پاکستان کا پہلا سرکاری ہسپتال لاہور میں زیر تکمیل ہے، نواز شریف کینسر ہسپتال میں ہرسٹیج کے ہر مریض کو مفت علاج کی سہولت فراہم کریں گے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ عام آدمی کے لئے کینسر کے علاج کے اخراجات ادا کرنا مشکل ہے، ریاست اپنا کردار نبھائے گی، منشیات اور سگریٹ سے پرہیز کرکے کینسر سے بچاؤ ممکن ہے۔
مریم نوازشریف نے مزید کہا کہ چاہتی ہوں عوام کو ہر ضلع میں کینسر کے مفت علاج کی سہولت میسر ہوں، فضائی اور آبی آلودگی بھی کینسر کا سبب بن سکتی ہے،عوامی شعور بیدار کرنا ہوگا۔

In her message on World Cancer Day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that public awareness and awareness about cancer diagnosis and treatment is very important, the mortality rate due to cancer in Pakistan is alarming.
She said that every individual at every level has to play his role to prevent cancer, she can never forget the grief of losing her mother due to cancer, Pakistan’s first government hospital for cancer treatment is under construction in Lahore, Nawaz Sharif will provide free treatment to every patient at every stage in Cancer Hospital.
She said that it is difficult for the common man to pay the cost of cancer treatment, the state will play its role, it is possible to prevent cancer by avoiding drugs and cigarettes.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif further said that she wants the public to have free cancer treatment in every district, air and water pollution can also cause cancer, public awareness has to be raised.
