Sports are not just entertainment, they are the foundation for children’s mental and creative development: Maryam Nawaz

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ ہنستا کھیلتا بچہ خوشی کی علامت ہے، بچوں کا کھیلنا محض تفریح نہیں، ذہنی، جذباتی اور تخلیقی نشوونما کی بنیاد ہے۔
انٹرنیشنل ڈے آف پلے (International Day of Play) پر اپنے پیغام میں وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف کا کہنا تھا کہ ہر بچے کو نہ صرف تعلیم بلکہ کھیلنے، سیکھنے اور بے فکری سے مسکرانے کا حق حاصل ہے، افسوس کہ کشمیر اور فلسطین کے بچے کھیل سمیت دیگر تمام بنیادی حقوق سے محروم ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ نواز شریف سینٹر آف ایکسیلینس فار ارلی چائلڈ ہوڈ ایجوکیشن میں کھیل کے ذریعے بھی بچوں کو تعلیم دی جا رہی ہے، ایسا ماحول اور معاشرہ بنا رہے ہیں جہاں ہر بچہ محفوظ، آزاد ، کھیلنے، سیکھنے اور بڑھنے کے مساوی مواقع سے فیض یاب ہو۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that a laughing and playing child is a symbol of happiness, children’s play is not just entertainment, but the basis of mental, emotional and creative development.
In her message on International Day of Play, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that every child has the right not only to education but also to play, learn and smile carefree. It is unfortunate that children in Kashmir and Palestine are deprived of all other basic rights including play.
She said that children are also being educated through play at the Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Education, creating an environment and society where every child is safe, free, enjoys equal opportunities to play, learn and grow.
