کراچی:ویسٹ انڈیز ویمن نے پاکستان ویمن کو دوسرے ون ڈے میں 2 وکٹوں سے شکست دے کر تین ایک روزہ میچز کی سیریز اپنے نام کرلی، سیریز کا آخری ون ڈے 23 اپریل کو کھیلا جائےگا۔کراچی کے نیشنل بینک اسٹیڈیم میں پاکستان ویمن ٹیم کی کپتان ندا ڈار نے ٹاس جیت کر بیٹنگ کا فیصلہ کیا، قومی ویمن ٹیم 48.5 اوورز میں223 رنز بنا سکی۔پاکستان کی جانب سے بسمہ معروف 65، سدرہ امین 50 اور نجیحہ علوی 25 رنز بنا کر نمایاں رہیں۔جواب میں ویسٹ انڈیز ویمن کی اسٹیفنی ٹیلر نے 73 رنز بنائے شیمائن کیمبل 52 اور ہیلی میتھیوز 44 رنز کے ساتھ نمایاں رہیں۔پاکستان کی جانب سے ندا ڈار 4، ام ہانی 2 سعدیہ اقبال اور فاطمہ ثنا نے ایک ایک وکٹ حاصل کی۔دلچسب مقابلے میں ویسٹ انڈیز کو آخری بال پر تین رنز درکار تھے جب فاطمہ ثنا کی لاسٹ بال کیپر کے ہاتھوں سے نکلتے ہوئے باؤنڈری لائن کراس کرگئی اور یوں ویسٹ انڈیز ویمن نے دلچسپ مقابلے کے بعد پاکستان ویمن کو دوسرے ون ڈے میں 2 وکٹوں سے شکست دے کر تین میچز کی سیریز اپنے نام کرلی۔میچ میں کپتان ندا ڈار نے 108 میچز میں 100 وکٹوں کا سنگ میل بھی عبور کرلیا۔ویسٹ انڈیز ویمن ٹیم نے پہلے ون ڈے میں پاکستان کو 113 رنز سے شکست دی تھی۔یہ سیریز آئی سی سی ویمن چیمپئن شپ کا حصہ ہے۔
Karachi: West Indies Women defeated Pakistan Women by 2 wickets in the second ODI to win the series of three one-day matches. The last ODI of the series will be played on April 23. Captain Nida Dar won the toss and decided to bat, the national women’s team managed to score 223 runs in 48.5 overs. Pakistan’s Bisma Maruf scored 65 runs, Sudra Amin scored 50 runs and Najiha Alvi scored 25 runs. In response, West Indies Women’s Stephanie was outstanding. Taylor scored 73 runs, Shimaine Campbell 52 and Hayley Mathews were prominent with 44 runs. Nida Dar 4, Umm Hani 2, Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana took one wicket each. West Indies on the last ball in an interesting match. Three runs were needed when Fatima Sana’s last ball crossed the boundary line leaving the hands of the keeper and thus West Indies Women defeated Pakistan Women by 2 wickets in the second ODI after an exciting contest to clinch the three-match series. In the match, captain Nida Dar also crossed the milestone of 100 wickets in 108 matches. The West Indies women’s team defeated Pakistan by 113 runs in the first ODI. This series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
