حکام کے مطابق پولیس کی جوابی فائرنگ میں 2 ڈاکو ہلاک جبکہ 3 گرفتار کر لئے گئے۔
آئی جی پنجاب ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے کانسٹیبل طاہر شاہ کی لازوال قربانی کو بھرپور خراج عقیدت پیش کیا اور شہید کے اہل خانہ سے تعزیت، دلی ہمدردی اور افسوس کا اظہار کیا۔
ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے کہا کہ ایلیٹ کانسٹیبل طاہر شاہ نے فرض کی راہ میں ڈاکوؤں سے لڑتے ہوئے جان کا نذرانہ پیش کیا، پنجاب پولیس کانسٹیبل طاہر شاہ کی قربانی کو کبھی فراموش نہیں کرے گی، شہید کے اہل خانہ کی کفالت پنجاب پولیس کی ذمہ داری ہے، بھرپور تعاون کیا جائے گا۔
آئی جی پنجاب ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے آر پی او راولپنڈی سے واقعہ کی رپورٹ بھی طلب کر لی۔
