Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa not keen on extension: Law Minister

اسلام آباد میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے اعظم نذیر تارڑ کا کہنا تھا کہ چیف جسٹس سے میری اور اٹارنی جنرل کی ملاقات ہوئی، چیف جسٹس نے واضح طور پر کہا کہ انہیں توسیع میں دلچسپی نہیں، اس قسم کی باتیں نہیں ہونی چاہئیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ چیف جسٹس معزز شخص ہیں، ان کے بارے میں بار بار کہنا کہ وہ توسیع لے رہے درست نہیں، میری میڈیا کے دوستوں سے گزارش ہے اب کسی اور موضوع پر بات کر لیں۔اعظم نذیر تارڑ کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ چیف جسٹس کی توسیع کی بات اب چھوڑ دینی چاہیے، دو تہائی اکثریت کی بات تو تب ہو جب توسیع لینا ہو۔

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Azam Nazir Tarar said that I and the Attorney General had a meeting with the Chief Justice.
He said that the Chief Justice is a respectable person, it is not correct to repeatedly say about him that he is taking extension. I request my media friends to talk about another topic now. Azam Nazir Tarar further said that the issue of extension of the Chief Justice should be left now, it should be a matter of two-thirds majority when the extension is to be taken.
