US Charge d’Affaires meets Punjab Chief Minister; discusses issues of mutual interest

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف سےامریکی ناظم الامور نٹالی اے بیکر کی ملاقات ہوئی ، وزیراعلیٰ سے ملاقات میں امریکی قونصل جنرل لاہور کرسٹن کے ہاکنز بھی موجود تھے
وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز نے نٹالی بیکر کی بطور ناظم الامور پاکستان میں مثبت کردار کو سراہا،پاک امریکا دیرینہ تعلقات کو مزید مستحکم بنانے اور باہمی دلچسپی کے امور پرتبادلہ خیال کیا ، حالیہ پاک بھارت کشیدگی میں امریکہ کے تعمیری کردار اور جنگ بندی میں تعاون کو سراہا،مریم نواز نے امریکی کانگریشنل پاکستان کاکس سے ملاقات کو مثبت اور تعمیری قرار دیا
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے کہا جنوبی ایشیا میں پائیدار امن کیلئے امریکہ کا فعال کردار نہایت اہم ہے،پاکستانی نژاد امریکی کمیونٹی دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تعلقات کا مضبوط پُل ہے،پنجاب اور کیلیفورنیا کے درمیان تعلقات مزید گہرے کرنے کے خواہاں ہیں،امریکا کیساتھ سٹرٹیجک شراکت داری کو وسعت دینے کے خواہاں ہیں،پنجاب کو پہلے ویمن ورچوئل پولیس اسٹیشن قائم کرنے کا اعزاز حاصل ہے،پاکستان ہرشعبے میں امریکا کیلئے سٹرٹیجک پارٹنر کے طور پر ابھر رہا ہے،پاکستان اور امریکا تعلقات مشترکہ اقدار اور اسٹریٹجک مفادات پر قائم ایک قابلِ قدر شراکت داری ہے۔وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف نے سسٹر سٹیٹ ہونے کے ناطے کیلیفورنیا کے عوام سے یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا
مریم نواز نے کہا پنجاب ملک کا سب سے بڑا اور معاشی طور پر فعال صوبہ ہے امریکی سرمایہ کاری اور تعاون کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہیں۔موسمیاتی تبدیلی، غذائی تحفظ اور پائیدار ترقی جیسے چیلنجز پر امریکا کو اہم عالمی شراکت دار سمجھتے ہیں۔

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker. US Consul General Lahore Kristen K. Hawkins was also present in the meeting with the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz appreciated Natalie Baker’s positive role as Chargé d’Affaires in Pakistan. They discussed ways to further strengthen the long-standing Pak-US relations and issues of mutual interest. She appreciated America’s constructive role in the recent Pak-India tension and its cooperation in the ceasefire. Maryam Nawaz described the meeting with the US Congressional Pakistan Caucus as positive and constructive.
Chief Minister Punjab said that America’s active role is very important for sustainable peace in South Asia. The Pakistani-American community is a strong bridge between the two countries. They are keen to further deepen relations between Punjab and California. They are keen to expand strategic partnership with the US. Punjab has the honor of establishing the first women’s virtual police station. Pakistan is emerging as a strategic partner for the US in every field. Pakistan-US relations are based on shared values. And it is a valuable partnership based on strategic interests. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed solidarity with the people of California as a sister state. Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab is the largest and most economically active province of the country and welcomes American investment and cooperation. She considers the United States an important global partner on challenges such as climate change, food security and sustainable development.
