Security on high alert in Punjab

آئی جی پنجاب عثمان انور نے ملک میں دہشت گردی کے حالیہ واقعات کے پیشِ نظر صوبے میں سیکیورٹی کو ہائی الرٹ کرنے کا حکم دے دیا۔
گورنر پنجاب سلیم حیدر سے آئی جی پولیس پنجاب عثمان انور نے ملاقات کی ہے۔
اس موقع پر گورنر پنجاب نے کہا کہ پولیس عوام کی جان و مال کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کے اقدامات کرے، پولیس جرائم کی روک تھام کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کرے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ تھانہ کلچر تبدیل ہونا چاہیے، پولیس کو حقیقی معنوں میں عوام کا مدد گار ہونا چاہیے، صوبے میں امن و امان کے حوالے سے کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ سیکیورٹی اداروں کی دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں قربانیاں ناقابلِ فراموش ہیں۔
سلیم حیدر نے کہا کہ صوبے میں اسموگ کی بگڑتی ہوئی صورتحال پر قابو پانے کے لیے مل کر کام کرنے کی ضرورت ہے، اسموگ کے حوالے سے حکومت کی جانب سے جاری ایس او پیز پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کروایا جائے۔
آئی جی پنجاب ڈاکٹر عثمان انور نے کہا کہ صوبے میں امن و امان کا قیام ترجیح ہے۔

IG Punjab Usman Anwar has ordered security in the province to be on high alert in view of the recent incidents of terrorism in the country.
Governor Punjab Salim Haider has been met by IG Police Punjab Usman Anwar.
On this occasion, Governor Punjab said that the police should take measures to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property, the police should take effective measures to prevent crimes.
He said that police station culture should be changed, police should be helpful to people in real sense, there will be no compromise regarding law and order in the province.
He said that the sacrifices of the security agencies in the war against terrorism are unforgettable.
Salim Haider said that there is a need to work together to control the worsening smog situation in the province, strictly implement the SOPs issued by the government regarding smog.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that establishing law and order in the province is a priority.
