Pakistan assumed the duties of a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council

اقوام متحدہ میں سلامتی کونسل کے غیر مستقل ارکان کی ذمہ داریاں سنبھالنے کی تقریب ہوئی، پاکستان کے ایڈیشنل مستقل مندوب عاصم افتخار نے سلامتی کونسل میں پاکستان کا پرچم لگا دیا، پاکستان دو سال تک اپنی ذمے داریاں نبھائے گا، دیگر غیر مستقل ارکان ڈنمارک، یونان، پاناما اور صومالیہ کے پرچم بھی لگائے گئے۔
منیر اکرم نے کہا کہ سلامتی کونسل میں دنیا کو درپیش چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کیلئے فعال کردار ادا کریں گے، پاکستان میں مجموعی طور سکیورٹی کی صورتحال بہت بہتر ہے، پاکستان ایک مضبوط ملک ہے، ہماری قوم متحد ہے، سکیورٹی کونسل میں افغانستان کے حوالے بات ہوتی رہتی ہے۔
سلامتی کونسل میں پاکستان کے ایڈیشنل مستقل مندوب عاصم افتخار نے کہا کہ افغانستان کے حوالے سے ہمارا مؤقف بالکل واضح ہے، ہم پر امن اور مستحکم افغانستان چاہتے ہیں۔

The ceremony of assuming the duties of the non-permanent members of the Security Council was held in the United Nations, Additional Permanent Representative of Pakistan Asim Iftikhar planted the flag of Pakistan in the Security Council, Pakistan will fulfill its responsibilities for two years, other non-permanent members Denmark, Flags of Greece, Panama and Somalia were also planted.
Munir Akram said that he will play an active role in the Security Council to deal with the challenges facing the world, the overall security situation in Pakistan is very good, Pakistan is a strong country, our nation is united, the Security Council discussed Afghanistan. It keeps happening.
Asim Iftikhar, Additional Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the Security Council, said that our position regarding Afghanistan is very clear, we want a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
