Chief Advisor of Bangladesh met with the Prime Minister, discussed bilateral relations

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف سے بنگلا دیش کی عبوری حکومت کے چیف ایڈوائزر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد یونس نے ملاقات کی جس میں دو طرفہ تعلقات کے فروغ پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
قاہرہ میں ڈی 8 سربراہی اجلاس کے موقع پر ہونے والی ملاقات پاکستان اور بنگلہ دیش کے درمیان موجودہ خیر سگالی اور برادرانہ تعلقات کی حقیقی عکاسی کرتی ہے، ملاقات میں وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تاریخی، مذہبی اور ثقافتی روابط کو اجاگر کیا، انہوں نے دوطرفہ تعاون بالخصوص تجارت، عوام کے درمیان رابطوں اور ثقافتی شعبوں میں تبادلوں کی خواہش کا اظہار کیا۔
وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف نے اقتصادی تعاون کی نئی راہیں تلاش کرنے کے لیے مشترکہ کوششیں کرنے اور کیمیکلز، سیمنٹ کلینکرز، آلات جراحی ، لیدر مصنوعات اور آئی ٹی سیکٹر جیسے شعبوں میں تجارت کو فروغ دینے کے لیے وسیع امکانات سے فائدہ اٹھانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔
شہباز شریف نے پاکستان اور بنگلہ دیش کے درمیان تجارت اور سفر کی سہولت کے لیے کیے گئے حالیہ اقدامات پر بنگلا دیش کا شکریہ ادا کیا جس میں پاکستان سے آنے والے سامان کے 100فیصد فیزیکل معائنہ کی شرط کو ختم کرنا اور ڈھاکہ ایئرپورٹ پر پاکستانی مسافروں کی جانچ پڑتال کے لیے قائم کیے گئے خصوصی سکیورٹی ڈیسک کو ختم کرنا شامل ہے۔
ملاقات میں وزیراعظم نے پاکستانی ویزا کے درخواست دہندگان کے لیے اضافی کلیئرنس کی شرط ختم کرنے پر بنگلا دیش کا شکریہ بھی ادا کیا، دونوں رہنماؤں نے دو طرفہ تعلقات میں حالیہ مثبت پیش رفت اور بڑھتے ہوئے اعلیٰ سطحی رابطوں پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔
شہباز شریف اور ڈاکٹر یونس نے باہمی دلچسپی کے تمام شعبوں میں دوطرفہ تعاون کو وسعت دینے پر اتفاق کیا اور باہمی طور پر فائدہ مند ترقیاتی مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے کوششوں کو ہم آہنگ کرنے کی ضرورت پر بھی زور دیا۔
دونوں رہنماؤں نے عوام سے عوام کے رابطوں اور ثقافتی تبادلوں کی اہمیت کو تسلیم کیا اور بنگلادیش کی کرکٹ ٹیم کے دورہ پاکستان اور پاکستانی فنکاروں کے ڈھاکہ میں کنسرٹ کے انعقاد پر بھی اطمینان کا اظہار کیا، دونوں فریقین نے D-8 سمیت مختلف کثیرالجہتی فورمز پر تعاون بڑھانے پر بھی اتفاق کیا۔

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was met by the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Muhammad Younis in which the promotion of bilateral relations was discussed.
The meeting held on the sidelines of the D8 summit in Cairo is a true reflection of the existing goodwill and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. In the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the historical, religious and cultural ties between the two countries. They expressed their desire for bilateral cooperation, especially in trade, people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to make joint efforts to explore new avenues of economic cooperation and take advantage of vast opportunities to promote trade in sectors such as chemicals, cement clinkers, surgical instruments, leather products and the IT sector. gave
Shahbaz Sharif thanked Bangladesh for the recent steps taken to facilitate trade and travel between Pakistan and Bangladesh, including the removal of the requirement for 100% physical inspection of goods coming from Pakistan and Pakistani passengers at Dhaka Airport. This includes removing the special desk security set up for inspection.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister also thanked Bangladesh for removing the additional clearance requirement for Pakistani visa applicants, both leaders expressed satisfaction over recent positive developments in bilateral relations and increased high-level contacts.
Shahbaz Sharif and Dr. Younis agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and also emphasized the need to coordinate efforts to achieve mutually beneficial development objectives.
The two leaders recognized the importance of people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges and also expressed satisfaction over the Bangladesh cricket team’s visit to Pakistan and the concert of Pakistani artists in Dhaka. But also agreed to increase cooperation.
