ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی ہدایت پر 30 دسمبر کو نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ کو فعال کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے، افتتاحی کمرشل پرواز قومی ایئرلائن چلائے گی۔
ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ گوادر ایئرپورٹ کو فعال کرنے کیلئے قومی ایئرلائنز کی انتظامیہ اور ایئرپورٹس اتھارٹی کے 5 گھنٹے تک طویل اجلاس کے بعد ایئر پورٹ کی فعالیت سے متعلق معاملات طے پا گئے ہیں، پی آئی اے آئندہ چند روز میں نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ائیرپورٹ پرعملہ تعینات کرے گا۔
نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ پر چیک ان کیلئے کمپیوٹرز سمیت اور دیگر اہم سامان بھی پی آئی اے لگائے گا۔
ذرائع نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ پر ایک سال تک قومی ایئرلائنز سے کوئی فیس نہیں لی جائے گی، ایئر پورٹس اتھارٹی کے حکام نے ایئرپورٹ چارجز کے بارے میں قومی ایئرلائن حکام کو یقین دہانی کرا دی ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ بلوچستان میں ڈیپ سی پورٹ گوادر میں چین کی 246 ملین ڈالرکی سرمایہ کاری سے نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ تعمیر کیا گیا ہے۔
