Mianwali: CTD and terrorists exchange fire, 3 terrorists killed, 6 escape

ترجمان سی ٹی ڈی نے بتایا کہ پنجاب کے ضلع میانوالی میں رحمانی خیل موڑ کے قریب سی ٹی ڈی اور دہشت گردوں میں فائرنگ کا شدید تبادلہ ہوا، 6 دہشت گرد اندھیرے کا فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے فرار ہو گئے۔
ترجمان نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ دہشت گردوں کی گرفتاری کے لیے جانے والی ٹیم پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ کی گئی، جوابی کارروائی میں دہشت گرد فرار ہو گئے، رائفلیں، تین دستی بم، گولیاں اور بارودی مواد برآمد کر لیا گیا۔
حکام کے مطابق سی ٹی ڈی کا فرار ہونے والے دہشت گردوں کی گرفتاری کے لیے آپریشن جاری ہے، رحمانی خیل موڑ کے قریب ناکہ بندی کر لی گئی ہے۔
ترجمان نے بتایا کہ ہلاک ہونے والے دہشت گردوں کی شناخت کا عمل جاری ہے ، دہشت گرد پولیس چوکیوں پر بڑے حملے کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی کر چکے تھے۔

Mianwali was spared a major disaster, 3 terrorists were killed in an operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on intelligence inputs.
The CTD spokesperson said that there was a heavy exchange of fire between the CTD and the terrorists near Rehmani Khel Mor in Punjab’s Mianwali district, 6 terrorists escaped taking advantage of the darkness.
The spokesperson also said that indiscriminate firing was opened on the team going to arrest the terrorists, the terrorists escaped in the retaliatory action, rifles, three hand grenades, bullets and explosives were recovered.
According to officials, the CTD is conducting an operation to arrest the escaped terrorists, a blockade has been set up near Rehmani Khel Mor.
The spokesperson said that the process of identifying the slain terrorists is underway, the terrorists had planned to carry out major attacks on police posts.
