Confirmation of polio virus in sewage samples of Lahore

قومی ادارہ صحت اسلام آباد نے لاہور کے سیوریج نمونوں میں پولیو وائرس کی موجودگی کی تصدیق کردی ہے۔انچارج انسداد پولیو پروگرام پنجاب نے کہا کہ ہم نے قومی ادارہ صحت کو 7 اگست کو نمونے بھجوائے تھے، جن میں پولیو وائرس پایا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ گلشن راوی ڈسپوزل اسٹیشن کے نمونوں میں پولیو وائرس پایا گیا ہے۔انچارج انسداد پولیس پروگرام پنجاب نے یہ بھی کہا کہ نمونے مثبت آنے پر انسداد پولیو مہم شروع کی جائے گی۔

The National Institute of Health Islamabad has confirmed the presence of polio virus in the sewage samples of Lahore. The in-charge anti-polio program Punjab said that we had sent the samples to the National Institute of Health on August 7, in which the polio virus was found.
He further said that polio virus has been found in the samples of Gulshan Ravi disposal station. In charge of anti-polio program Punjab also said that anti-polio campaign will be started if the samples are positive.
