National Security Committee announces eradication of terrorism

اسلام آباد میں قومی اسمبلی کے فلور پر ملکی سلامتی کی موجودہ صورتحال کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے پارلیمانی کمیٹی برائے قومی سلامتی کا اجلاس آج اسلام آباد میں منعقد ہوا جو 6 گھنٹے سے زائد جاری رہا۔
اعلامیے کے مطابق اجلاس میں قومی سلامتی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی نے دہشت گردی کی حالیہ کارروائیوں کی واضح الفاظ میں مذمت کی اور متاثرہ خاندانوں کے ساتھ گہری یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا۔
کمیٹی نے انسداد دہشت گردی آپریشنز کے انعقاد میں سیکیورٹی فورسز و قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کی بہادری اور پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کو سراہتے ہوئے دہشت گردی کو اس کی تمام شکلوں میں ختم کرنے کے لیے پاکستان کے غیر متزلزل عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔میٹی نے ریاست کی پوری طاقت کے ساتھ اس خطرے کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے اسٹریٹجک اور ایک متفقہ سیاسی عزم پر زور دیتے ہوئے انسداد دہشت گردی کے لیے قومی اتفاق کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔
کمیٹی نے دہشت گردوں کے نیٹ ورکس کو ختم کرنے ، لاجسٹک سپورٹ کے انسداد اور دہشت گردی و جرائم کے گٹھ جوڑ کو ختم کرنے کے لیے نیشنل ایکشن پلان اور عزم استحکام کی حکمت عملی پر فوری عمل درآمد پر زور دیا۔
آج قومی اسمبلی کے ہال مین ہونے والے قومی سلامتی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی کے اجلاس میں کمیٹی نے پروپیگنڈا پھیلانے ، اپنے پیروکاروں کو بھرتی کرنے اور حملوں کو مربوط کرنے کے لیے دہشت گرد گروپوں کی جانب سے سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز کے بڑھتے ہوئے غلط استعمال پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور اسکی روک تھام کیلئے اقدامات پرزور دیا۔کمیٹی نے دہشت گردوں کے ڈیجیٹل نیٹ ورکس کے سد باب کے لیے طریقہ کار وضح کرنے پر بھی زور دیا۔افواج پاکستان اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کی غیر متزلزل حمایت کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے کمیٹی نے ان کی قربانیوں اور ملکی دفاع کے عزم کا اعتراف کیا اور کہا قوم دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں مسلح افواج، پولیس، فرنٹیئر کانسٹیبلری اور انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیوں کے ساتھ شانہ بشانہ کھڑی ہے۔
کمیٹی نے اس بات کا اعادہ کیا کہ دشمن قوتوں کے ساتھ ملی بھگت سے کام کرنے والے کسی بھی ادارے، فرد یا گروہ کو پاکستان کے امن و استحکام کو نقصان پہنچانے کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی۔ کمیٹی نے حزب اختلاف کے بعض اراکین کی عدم شرکت پر افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اعادہ کیا کہ اس بارے میں مشاورت کا عمل جاری رہے گا .قومی اسمبلی کے سپیکر کی زیر صدارت اجلاس میں وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف، پارلیمانی کمیٹی کے ارکان، سیاسی قائدین، چیف آف آرمی سٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر، اہم وفاقی وزراء اور فوج اور انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیوں کے اعلیٰ حکام نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس کے اختتام پر آرمی چیف آف اسٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے دعا بھی کروائی۔

The Parliamentary Committee on National Security held a meeting in Islamabad today to review the current security situation in the country on the floor of the National Assembly, which lasted for more than 6 hours.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the Parliamentary Committee on National Security condemned the recent acts of terrorism in the strongest terms and expressed deep solidarity with the affected families.
The committee, while appreciating the bravery and professionalism of the security forces and law enforcement agencies in conducting counter-terrorism operations, reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms. The Met stressed the need for a strategic and unified political commitment to confront this menace with the full might of the state, stressing the need for a national consensus to counter terrorism.
The committee called for the immediate implementation of the National Action Plan and the Resilience Strategy to dismantle terrorist networks, counter logistical support and dismantle the nexus of terrorism and crime.
In a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security held in the National Assembly Hall today, the committee expressed concern over the increasing misuse of social media platforms by terrorist groups to spread propaganda, recruit followers and coordinate attacks and stressed on measures to curb it. The committee also stressed on clarifying the mechanisms to disrupt the digital networks of terrorists. Reiterating its unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, the committee acknowledged their sacrifices and commitment to national defense and said that the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces, police, Frontier Constabulary and intelligence agencies in the fight against terrorism. The committee reiterated that no institution, individual or group working in collusion with enemy forces will be allowed to undermine the peace and stability of Pakistan. The committee expressed regret over the non-participation of some opposition members and reiterated that the consultation process in this regard would continue. The meeting, chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly, was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, members of the parliamentary committee, political leaders, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, key federal ministers and senior officials of the army and intelligence agencies.
At the end of the meeting, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir also led a prayer.
