On International Labor Day, the working class faces inflation and unemployment.

پاکستان میں یکم مئی کو یوم مزدور پر عام تعطیل ہوتی ہے۔ تمام سرکاری اور غیر سرکاری ادارے، کارخانے اور تعلیمی ادارے بند رہتے ہیں۔ مزدوروں کو یوم مزدور پر بھی کام کرنا ہوتا ہے تاکہ وہ اپنے خاندانوں کی روزمرہ کی ضروریات پوری کر سکیں۔ جہاں دیگر تمام لوگ عام تعطیل کا مزہ لے رہے ہیں وہیں ہر سال یہ دن منانے والے لوگ اس دن بھی بے صبری سے کام کی تلاش میں ہیں۔

پاکستان میں صورتحال انتہائی تشویشناک ہے۔ بڑھتی ہوئی مہنگائی، بجلی اور گیس کی بے تحاشہ لوڈشیڈنگ، بے روزگاری، بڑھتی ہوئی غربت اور امن و امان کی خرابی، یہ سب لوگوں کی زندگیاں بدتر کرنے میں معاون ہیں۔

کم آمدنی والے محنت کش طبقے کو بے قابو آسمانی چھوتی قیمتوں کا براہ راست سامنا ہے جو انہیں غربت کے جال اور فاقہ کشی کی طرف لے جا رہا ہے۔ کھانے پینے کی اشیاء اور روزمرہ استعمال کی اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں بے تحاشہ اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ آٹا، چاول، سبزیاں اور دال جیسی بنیادی چیزیں غریب آدمی کی پہنچ سے باہر ہیں۔

Labor Day is a public holiday in Pakistan on May 1. All government and non-government organizations, factories and educational institutions remain closed. Laborers have to work on Labor Day as well so they can fulfill the daily need of thier families. where all other people are enjoying public holiday, the people for those this day is celebrated every year are desperatly looking for work on this day as well.
In Pakistan, the situation is quite distressing. Soaring inflation, excessive loadshedding of electricity and gas, unemployment, rising poverty and poor law and order, all contribute to making lives of people worse.
The lower income working class is a direct sufferer of the uncontrollable sky-rocketing price hike which is driving them into a poverty trap and starvation. The prices of food items and daily commodities are increasing exorbitantly; Basic things like flour, rice, vegetables, and pulses are out of the poor man’s reach.
