Blood donors are benefactors of the entire society: Maryam Nawaz

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ رضاکارانہ طور پر خون عطیہ کرنے والے کسی فرد نہیں پورے معاشرے کے محسن ہیں۔انٹرنیشنل بلڈ ڈونر ڈے کے موقع پر اپنا خصوصی پیغام جاری کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے رضاکارانہ طور پر خون عطیہ کرنے والوں کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا ہے اور نوجوانوں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ اس کار خیر میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیں۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے کہا ہے کہ خون کا عطیہ دراصل کسی کے لیے زندگی کا تحفہ ہوتا ہے اور محفوظ خون کی منتقلی کے ذریعے ہر سال لاکھوں جانیں بچائی جا رہی ہیں، رضاکارانہ طور پر خون عطیہ کرنے والے صرف کسی فرد یا خاندان کے نہیں بلکہ پورے معاشرے کے محسن ہیں۔
مریم نواز شریف نے بتایا کہ پنجاب کو یہ اعزاز حاصل ہے کہ یہاں پاکستان کا پہلا باقاعدہ ورچوئل بلڈ بینک قائم کیا گیا ہے، اس جدید نظام کے ذریعے ایمرجنسی ہیلپ لائن 15 پر کال کر کے “4” کا بٹن دبانے سے خون کے عطیہ دہندہ سے فوری رابطہ ممکن ہو جاتا ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ہے کہ ورچوئل بلڈ بینک کے ذریعے ضرورت مند مریض اور بلڈ ڈونر کے درمیان پل قائم کیا گیا ہے تاکہ بروقت اور صحت مند خون کی فراہمی ممکن ہو سکے۔
انہوں نے عوام سے اپیل کی کہ وہ بلڈ ڈونر 15 ہیلپ لائن، سیف سٹی ویب سائٹ یا قریبی پولیس خدمت مرکز پر رجسٹریشن کرا کر خون عطیہ کرنے کا عزم کریں کیونکہ خون کا ہر قطرہ قیمتی ہے جو کسی ضرورت مند کے لیے زندگی کا پیغام بن سکتا ہے۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that those who voluntarily donate blood are not the benefactors of any individual but of the entire society. Issuing her special message on the occasion of International Blood Donor Day, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has paid tribute to those who voluntarily donate blood and appealed to the youth to actively participate in this good deed.
The Punjab Chief Minister has said that blood donation is actually a gift of life for someone and millions of lives are being saved every year through safe blood transfusion. Those who voluntarily donate blood are not the benefactors of just any individual or family but of the entire society.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Punjab is honored to have Pakistan’s first regular virtual blood bank established here. Through this modern system, immediate contact with the blood donor is possible by calling the emergency helpline 15 and pressing the “4” button.
She further said that a bridge has been established between the needy patient and the blood donor through the virtual blood bank so that timely and healthy blood supply can be ensured.
He appealed to the public to register on the Blood Donor 15 helpline, Safe City website or the nearest Police Khidmat Markaz and pledge to donate blood because every drop of blood is precious and can be a life-saving message for someone in need.
