Hurricane devastation in Japan

جاپان کے مشرقی اور شمال مشرقی ساحلی علاقے کانتو اور توہوکُو کو طاقتور سمندری طوفان ٹائیفون ایمپل کا سامنا ہے، طوفان کی شدت بڑھتی جارہی ہے اور ہفتے کی شام تک ٹکرانے کا خدشہ ہے۔ ٹوکیو میں طوفانی ہوا کے ساتھ بارش کا سلسلہ بھی جاری ہے، طوفان کے خطرے کے باعث سینکڑوں پروازیں منسوخ کر دی گئی ہیں، جس سے ایک لاکھ سے زائد مسافروں کے متاثر ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔
طوفان کے پیشِ نظر بجلی کی فراہمی بھی معطل ہے، جس سے 2ہزار گھر بجلی سے محروم ہیں، بجلی کی بندش سے ٹوکیو اور مرکزی شہر ناگویا کے درمیان چلنے والی تمام بلٹ ٹرین سروس بھی منسوخ کر دی گئی۔ جاپان کی موسمیاتی ایجنسی نے ایمپل کو زیادہ طاقتور طوفان کا درجہ دیتے ہوئے متاثرہ علاقوں سے 19 ہزار رہائشیوں کے انخلا کے احکامات جاری کر دیئے ہیں۔

Japan’s eastern and northeastern coastal regions of Kanto and Tohoku are facing a powerful typhoon, Typhoon Ample, which is expected to intensify and make landfall by Saturday evening. Tokyo continues to receive rain accompanied by stormy winds, with hundreds of flights canceled due to the threat of the storm, which is expected to affect more than 100,000 passengers.
Power is also suspended in the wake of the storm, leaving 2,000 homes without power.The blackout also canceled all bullet train service between Tokyo and the central city of Nagoya. The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued orders for the evacuation of 19,000 residents from the affected areas, classifying Ample as a super typhoon.
