Earthquake shocks Turkey, intensity 6.1 record

ترکیہ کی ڈیزاسٹر اینڈ ایمرجنسی اتھارٹی کا بتانا ہے کہ مشرقی صوبے ملاتیا میں 5.9 شدت کا زلزلہ آیا ہے، زلزلے کی گہرائی زیرِ زمین 9 کلو میٹر تھی۔ یورپی بحیرۂ روم کے زلزلہ پیما مرکز کا کہنا ہے کہ آج ترکیہ کے مشرقی ریجن میں زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے جن کی شدت ریکٹر سکیل پر 6.1 ریکارڈ کی گئی۔ زلزلے کے سبب جانی و مالی نقصان کی فوری طور پر کوئی اطلاع موصول نہیں ہوئی ہے۔

Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Authority says that an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 has occurred in the eastern province of Malatya, the depth of the earthquake was 9 kilometers underground. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center says that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale was felt in the eastern region of Turkey today. There was no immediate report of loss of life or property due to the earthquake.
