پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کی جانب سے بتایا گیا کہ جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے وادی تیراہ اور گردونواح میں انسداد دہشتگردی کی کارروائیوں میں حصہ لینے والے جوانوں سے ملاقات کی اور جوانوں کے بلند حوصلے اور ہر قسم کے خطرے کے خلاف مؤثر جواب دینے کی تیاری کو سراہا، آرمی چیف نے افسران اور جوانوں کے ساتھ بات چیت بھی کی۔
اس موقع پر آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نےسکیورٹی فورسز کیلئے مقامی آبادی کی حمایت کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ علاقے میں امن کو برقرار رکھنے میں مقامی آبادی کا مثبت کردار ضروری ہے، قوم کی قربانیوں سے حاصل کیا گیا امن ہرقیمت پر برقرار رکھا جائے گا۔
