لاہور کرائم آرگنائزڈ یونٹ ڈی ایس پی محمد علی بٹ کے حکم پر اقبال ٹاؤن انسپکٹر شکیل بٹ اے ایس آئی فرخ بٹ اور ان کی ٹیم نے بلاج میر کیس کے ملزم احسن شاہ کو شادباغ کے علاقے میں نشاندہی کے لیے لیجارہ رہی تھی کہ اس کا بھائی، علی رضا اور نامعلوم ساتھیوں نے چھڑانے کے لیے حملہ کردیا جن کی فائرنگ سے ملزم احسن شاہ موقع پر بری طرح زخمی ہوگیا جسے فوری ہسپتال پہنچایا گیا ہے۔ جہاں پر وہ دم توڑ گیا تاہم پولیس نے بڑی مشکل سے اپنی جان بچائی پولیس کی مزید نفری موقع پر پہنچ گئی
