US airstrikes on Yemen are a violation of international law: Iran

ایرانی وزارتِ خارجہ کے ترجمان اسماعیل بگھائی نے اتوار کو اپنے بیان میں یمنی عوام کی فلسطینیوں کے ساتھ یک جہتی کو سراہا اور یمن میں جاری امریکی فضائی حملوں کی مذمت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یمن پر امریکا کے مسلسل اور جارحانہ حملے بین الاقوامی قوانین اور اقوام متحدہ کے چارٹر کے اصولوں اور قواعد کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ حملے انٹرنیشنل ہیومینیٹیرئن لاء کے قوانین اور اصولوں کی بھی خلاف ورزی ہیں اور جنگی جرم کی ایک مثال ہیں۔
اسماعیل بگھائی نے مسلم دنیا، علاقائی ممالک اور اقوامِ متحدہ سے یمن پر امریکا، برطانیہ اور اسرائیلی حکومت کے حملوں کے خلاف سنجیدہ اقدامات اُٹھانے کا مطالبہ بھی کیا۔
یاد رہے کہ امریکا اور برطانیہ تقریباً ایک سال سے یمن کی خودمختاری اور بین الاقوامی قوانین کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے فوجی حملے کر رہے ہیں۔
امریکا اور برطانیہ کی جانب سے یمن پر یہ غیر قانونی فضائی حملے یمنی عوام کی فلسطینیوں کے ساتھ یکجہتی کے لیے بحرۂ احمر میں امریکا اور برطانیہ کےجہازوں پر ہونے والے یمنی حملوں کے نتیجے میں کیے جا رہے ہیں۔

In his statement on Sunday, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghai, praised the solidarity of the Yemeni people with the Palestinians and condemned the ongoing US airstrikes in Yemen, saying that the continuous and aggressive US attacks on Yemen violate international laws and the United Nations. are in flagrant violation of the principles and rules of the Charter.
He said that these attacks are also a violation of the rules and principles of International Humanitarian Law and are an example of a war crime.
Ismail Baghai also called on the Muslim world, regional countries and the United Nations to take serious measures against the attacks of the United States, Britain and the Israeli government on Yemen.
It should be remembered that the United States and the United Kingdom have been carrying out military attacks in violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and international laws for almost a year.
These illegal air attacks on Yemen by the United States and Britain are being carried out as a result of the Yemeni attacks on American and British ships in the Red Sea for the solidarity of the Yemeni people with the Palestinians.
