Karachi-Lahore flight lands without one tire, reveals report

کراچی سے لاہور پرواز کے طیارے کی رات دس بجے ایک ٹائر کے بغیرلینڈنگ کا انکشاف ہوا ہے۔پی کے 306 کی لینڈنگ کے بعد پچھلے ٹائروں میں سے ایک ٹائرکی عدم موجودگی کا انکشاف ہوا، لاہور اے ٹی سی او کی جانب سے اطلاع پر کراچی ایئرپورٹ پر ٹائر کی شافٹ کا ایک حصہ ملا۔
ذرائع کے مطابق اے پی بی ایل ایس رجسٹریشن کے حامل ایئربس 320 طیارے کے ٹائرغائب ہونے کی تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا گیا، پی آئی اے ٹیم ٹائر کے بغیر پرواز کی لینڈنگ تحقیقات کے لئے لاہور پہنچ گئی۔
سیفٹی اینڈ انویسٹی گیشن حکام نے بھی تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا، کراچی سے ٹیک آف کے وقت طیارے کے ٹائرمکمل تھے، طیارے نے لاہور ایئرپورٹ پر نارمل لینڈنگ اور ٹیکسی کی۔
ترجمان پی آئی اے کے مطابق ابتدائی مشاہدے کے مطابق کراچی رن وے پرممکنہ بیرونی چیز کے ٹکرانے کے باعث واقعہ ہوا، پی آئی اے فلائٹ سیفٹی ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے معاملے کی تحقیقات شروع کر دیں۔
پی آئی اے ترجمان نے کہا کہ حتمی رپورٹ آنے پر اصل وجہ سامنے آئے گی مگر ابتدائی مشاہدے کے مطابق کراچی رن وے پر ممکنہ فاڈ یا کسی اور بیرونی عمل سے پہیہ متاثر ہوا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پی آئی اے جہاز نے لاہور میں بحفاظت اور انتہائی ہموار لینڈنگ کی، جہاز کے ڈیزائن میں اس عمل کیلئے گنجائش رکھی جاتی ہے جس سے فضائی حفاظت کو خطرہ لاحق نہ ہو۔

According to sources, an investigation has been launched into the disappearance of the tires of the Airbus 320 aircraft with APBLS registration. A PIA team reached Lahore to investigate the landing of the flight without tires.
Safety and Investigation officials have also launched an investigation. The plane’s tires were full at the time of takeoff from Karachi. The plane made a normal landing and taxied at Lahore Airport.
According to a PIA spokesperson, according to initial observations, the incident occurred due to a possible collision with a foreign object on the Karachi runway. The PIA Flight Safety Department has started investigating the matter.
The PIA spokesperson said that the real reason will be revealed after the final report comes, but according to initial observations, the wheel was affected by a possible FAD or some other external process on the Karachi runway. He said that the PIA plane made a safe and very smooth landing in Lahore, and the design of the plane makes room for this process that does not pose a threat to air safety.
