Karachi: FIA raids, citizen arrested on charges of hawala hundi

وفاقی تحقیقاتی ادارے ایف آئی اے نے کراچی کے علاقے نشتر پارک کے قریب فلیٹ پر چھاپہ مارا، اس دوران حوالہ ہنڈی کے الزام پر شہری کو گرفتار کرلیا گیا۔
حکام کے مطابق ملزم کے قبضے سے 8 ہزار امریکی ڈالر، 37 ہزار عراقی دینار اور 90 لاکھ روپے برآمد ہوئے ہیں۔ فلیٹ سے سعودی ریال، یو اے ای درہم، تنزانیہ شیلنگ بھی قبضے میں لیے گئے۔فلیٹ پر چھاپے کے دوران 2 موبائل فونز برآمد ہوئے جبکہ حوالہ ہنڈی کا ریکارڈ اور مواد ضبط کرلیا گیا۔
ڈائریکٹر ایف آئی اے نعمان صدیقی کا کہنا ہے کہ گرفتار ملزم کاظم رضا حوالہ ہنڈی کے کام میں ملوث تھا، ملزم مجرمانہ مواد کی موجودگی کے بارے میں معقول جواب دینے میں ناکام رہا۔
ملزم کو ضروری کارروائی کےلیے ایف آئی اے اینٹی منی لانڈرنگ سرکل منتقل کردیا گیا ہے۔

Saudi riyals, UAE dirhams, Tanzanian shillings were also seized from the flat. 2 mobile phones were recovered during the raid on the flat, while the record and material of hawala hundi were seized.
Director FIA Noman Siddiqui says that the arrested accused Kazim Raza was involved in the work of hawala hundi, the accused failed to give a reasonable answer about the presence of criminal material.
The accused has been transferred to the FIA ​​Anti-Money Laundering Circle for necessary action.
