Protests outside US consulates in Karachi and Lahore

ایرانی سپریم لیڈر آیت اللہ علی خامنہ ای کی شہادت کی خبر پھیلتے ہی کراچی میں امریکی قونصل خانے کے باہر احتجاج شروع ہو گیا۔کراچی میں مظاہرین کی بڑی تعداد امریکی قونصل خانے کے اطراف جمع ہو گئی، ایڈیشنل آئی جی کراچی آزاد خان بھی امریکی قونصل خانے پہنچ گئے اور مظاہرین کو پیچھے دھکیل دیا گیا۔
کراچی کے علاقے سلطان آباد سے مائی کولاچی آنے جانے والے دونوں روڈ ٹریفک کیلئے بند کر دیئے گئے، جناح برج سے آنے والا ٹریفک آئی آئی چندریگر روڈ بھیجا جا رہا ہے۔
کراچی کی ٹریفک پولیس کے مطابق پی آئی ڈی سی سے آنے والی ٹریفک پارک کٹ سے واپس بھیجی جارہی ہے، احتجاج کے باعث ٹریفک کی آمد و رفت معطل ہے۔
دوسری جانب لاہور پریس کلب کے سامنے بھی مظاہرہ کیا گیا اور مظاہرین نے امریکی قونصل خانے کے طرف جانے کی کوشش کی مگر پولیس نے مظاہرین کو قونصلیٹ کے قریب جانے سے روک دیا۔
پولیس حکام کے مطابق امریکی قونصلیٹ کے باہر لوگ پرامن ہیں اور بات بھی سن رہے ہیں، ایرانی سپریم لیڈر کی شہادت احتجاج کرنے والوں کیلئے دکھ کی گھڑی ہے، مختلف جماعتوں کی جانب سے مختلف احتجاج ہو رہے ہیں ان لوگوں کو بھی سکیورٹی دینی ہے۔

As soon as the news of the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spread, protests began outside the US Consulate in Karachi. A large number of protesters gathered around the US Consulate in Karachi. Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan also reached the US Consulate and the protesters were pushed back.
Both roads from Sultanabad to Mai Kolachi in Karachi have been closed for traffic, traffic coming from Jinnah Bridge is being diverted to II Chandrigarh Road.
According to Karachi Traffic Police, traffic coming from PIDC is being diverted back through Park Cut, traffic movement is suspended due to the protest.
On the other hand, a demonstration was also held in front of the Lahore Press Club and the protesters tried to go towards the US Consulate, but the police stopped the protesters from going near the consulate.
According to police officials, people outside the US Consulate are peaceful and are also listening. The assassination of the Iranian Supreme Leader is a sad hour for the protesters. Various protests are being held by different parties. Security should also be provided to these people.
