DG FIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir removed from office

وفاقی تحقیقاتی ایجنسی (ایف آئی اے) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل احمد اسحاق جہانگیر کو عہدے سے ہٹا دیا گیا۔
احمد اسحاق جہانگیر کو عہدے سے ہٹانے کا نوٹیفکیشن بھی جاری کر دیا گیا ہے۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق احمد اسحاق جہانگیر کو اسٹیبلشمنٹ میں او ایس ڈی بنا دیا گیا ہے۔
ڈی جی ایف آئی اے کی برطرفی کی وجہ سامنے آ گئی
ڈی جی ایف آئی اے احمد اسحاق جہانگیر کو ان کے عہدے سے ہٹانے کی وجوہات سامنے آ گئیں۔
ذرائع نے بتایا ہے کہ ڈی جی ایف آئی اے احمد اسحاق جہانگیر کو کشتی حادثات پر سست تحقیقات کی وجہ سے عہدے سے ہٹایا گیا۔
وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کے احکامات کے مطابق کشتی حادثات پر تحقیقات تندہی سے نہیں کی گئیں، بڑے پیمانے پر غیر قانونی ہجرت کی روک تھام نہ ہونا بھی بر طرفی کی وجہ بنی۔
ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ وزارتِ داخلہ نے ڈی جی ایف آئی اے کی برطرفی کے لیے وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کو سمری بھجوائی تھی۔
نئے ڈی جی ایف آئی اے کے لیے وزارتِ داخلہ سمری کابینہ کو ارسال کرے گی۔
ذرائع کا یہ بھی کہنا ہے کہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ ڈویژن نے نئے ڈی جی ایف آئی اے کے لیے افسران کی شارٹ لسٹنگ شروع کر دی۔
واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ سال جنوری میں احمد اسحاق جہانگیر نے وفاقی تحقیقاتی ایجنسی (ایف آئی اے) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل کے عہدے کا چارج سنبھالا تھا۔

Reason for the removal of DG FIA revealed
The reasons for the removal of DG FIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir from his post have been revealed.
Sources have said that DG FIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir was removed from his post due to slow investigations into boat accidents.
As per the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, investigations into boat accidents were not conducted diligently, and the failure to prevent large-scale illegal migration was also the reason for the removal.
Sources say that the Ministry of Interior had sent a summary to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the removal of DG FIA.
The Ministry of Interior will send a summary for the new DG FIA to the cabinet.
Sources also say that the Establishment Division has started shortlisting officers for the new DG FIA. It should be noted that in January last year, Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir took charge of the post of Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
