Agreed to give 75% shares of PIA to 5 bidders

سینیٹ کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے نجکاری کے اجلاس میں پی آئی اے کے خریدار 5 بڈرز کو ایئرلائن کے 75 فیصد شیئرز دینے پر اتفاق کرلیا گیا۔قائمہ کمیٹی برائے نجکاری اجلاس میں سیکریٹری نجکاری کمیشن عثمان باجوہ نے بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا کہ پی آئی اے آپریشنز کےلیے خریدار کو تقریباً 425 ارب روپے فوری سرمایہ کاری کرنا ہوگی۔
حکام نے کمیٹی کو بتایا کہ پی آئی اے کے آئندہ 3 برسوں کےلیے 500 ملین ڈالر سرمایہ کاری کی ضرورت ہے۔انکا کہنا تھا کہ پی آئی اے خریداری میں 6 میں سے 3 کمپنیاں زیادہ دلچسپی لے رہی ہیں، پی آئی اے کی نجکاری یکم اکتوبر سے آگے نہیں بڑھائی جائے گی، پی آئی اے کی خریدار کمپنیوں کا ڈیو ڈیلیجنس پراسس مکمل نہ ہوا تو بڈنگ آگے کرنا ہوگی۔

In the Senate Standing Committee on Privatization meeting, it was agreed to give 75 percent shares of the airline to the 5 bidders who bought PIA. In the Standing Committee on Privatization meeting, Secretary Privatization Commission Usman Bajwa while giving a briefing said that for PIA operations. The buyer will have to make an immediate investment of around Rs 425 billion.
Officials told the committee that PIA needs $500 million in investment for the next 3 years. They said that 3 out of 6 companies are interested in buying PIA. Bidding will not be extended beyond, if the due diligence process of the PIA buying companies is not completed, the bidding will have to be carried forward.
