The Day for the Elimination of Child Labor is being observed today across the world, including Pakistan.

پاکستان میں چائلڈ لیبر کی مجموعی شرح 16.9فیصد ریکارڈ کی گئی، پاکستان میں چائلڈ لیبر میں اضافے کی بنیادی وجہ غربت ہے۔
انٹرنیشنل لیبر آرگنائزیشن نے مؤقف اختیار کیا کہ بیروزگاری کے خاتمے اور شہریوں کو سوشل پروٹیکشن دینے سے چائلڈ لیبر پرقابو پایا جاسکتا ہے، ماہرین نے گھریلو مزدوری میں چائلڈ لیبر کو سنگین مسئلہ قرار دے دیا۔چائلڈ لیبر کے خاتمے کا عالمی دن آج 12 جون کو منایا جاتا ہے، پاکستان میں مؤثر قانون اور کارروائی نہ ہونے پر ملک بھر میں بچہ مزدوروں کی تعداد 2 کروڑ سے تجاوز کر گئی، پنجاب میں چائلڈ لیبر کی شرح 14 فیصد کے قریب ہے۔
ماہرین نے کہا ہے کہ ہر حکومت میں چائلڈ لیبر کے خاتمے کا اعلان تو کیا گیا مگر نا کافی اقدامات اٹھائے گئے جس کی وجہ سے بچہ مزدوری میں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔

Experts have declared child labor in domestic labor as a serious problem. The World Day for the Elimination of Child Labor is celebrated today, June 12. Due to the lack of effective laws and action in Pakistan, the number of child laborers across the country has crossed 20 million. The rate of child labor in Punjab is close to 14 percent.
Experts have said that every government has announced the elimination of child labor, but insufficient steps have been taken, due to which child labor is increasing.
