Prime Minister’s message on International Workers’ Day

مزدوروں کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ پہلی بار پاکستان میں مزدور قومی پیشہ ورانہ حفاظت اور صحت کی پروفائل سے مستفید ہو رہا ہے۔
اس دن کی مناسبت سے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے پیغام دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ مزدوروں کے تحفظ کو مضبوط بنانے کےلیے اہم قانون سازی اور انتظامی اصلاحات کی ہیں۔
وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ پاکستان محنت کشوں کےلیے محفوظ حالات کو فروغ دینے کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتا ہے، ہماری محنت کش افرادی قوت قوم کی ترقی اور حالات سے نمٹنے کی استعداد کے پیچھے اصل محرک ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ مزدوروں کے بنیادی حقوق کا تحفظ پاکستان کے آئین میں درج ہے، یہ انٹرنیشنل لیبرآرگنائزیشن کے بنیادی کنونشنز کے ساتھ مکمل ہم آہنگ ہے۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ ملک میں روزگار کے حصول کے ماحول کو محفوظ اور صحت مند جگہوں میں تبدیل کرنے کو یقینی بنارہے ہے، ایسے مستقبل کی تعمیر کر رہے ہیں، جہاں ہر مزدور کو باوقار اور محفوظ روزگار تک رسائی حاصل ہو۔
وزیراعظم نے مزید کہا کہ تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے گزارش ہے، ایسے معاشرے کی تعمیر میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں جو مزدوروں کا احترام کرے۔

On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that for the first time, workers in Pakistan are benefiting from the National Occupational Safety and Health Profile.
On the occasion of this day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while giving a message, said that important legislative and administrative reforms have been made to strengthen the protection of workers.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan reiterates its commitment to promoting safe conditions for workers, our hardworking workforce is the main driver behind the nation’s development and resilience. He said that the protection of fundamental rights of workers is enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan, which is fully compatible with the fundamental conventions of the International Labor Organization.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is ensuring the transformation of the employment environment into safe and healthy places, building a future where every worker has access to dignified and safe employment.
The Prime Minister further said that all stakeholders are requested to play their role in building a society that respects workers.
