پولیس کے مطابق واقعہ جھنگی سیداں میں پیش آیا، جہاں نامعلوم موٹرسائیکل سواروں نے پولیس پر فائرنگ کردی، فائرنگ کی زد میں آکر سب انسپکٹر حیدر علی شاہ شدید زخمی ہوگیا، زخمی سب انسپکٹر کو پمز ہسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا جہاں وہ جانبر نہ ہوا اور جان کی بازی ہار گیا۔

پولیس نے مزید بتایا کہ جاں بحق ہونے والا سب انسپکٹر حیدر علی شاہ تھانہ انڈسٹریل ایریا میں تعینات تھا، ملزموں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کرکے تلاش شروع کردی گئی۔
