Lahore: Electricity theft worth crores caught from 2 mills

لیسکو حکام نے لاہور کی 2 ملوں میں کروڑوں روپے کی بجلی چوری پکڑ لی۔
لیسکو چیف شاہد حیدر کے مطابق شالامار میں ایک فرنس مل کے مالکان موبائل ٹرانسفارمر لگا کر بجلی چوری کر رہے تھے، ملزمان کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کروا کے ڈیٹیکشن بل کی کارروائی شروع کردی گئی ہے۔شاہد حیدر نے کہا کہ چند روز قبل اسی علاقے میں ایک اسٹیل مل سے بھی بجلی کی بڑی چوری پکڑی گئی تھی۔
دونوں ملوں کو ایک ارب روپے سے زائد جرمانہ کیا گیا ہے جبکہ ڈی ٹیکشن بل کی کارروائی بھی شروع کردی گئی ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ با اثر بجلی چوروں کو رینجرز کی مدد سے پکڑا جا رہا ہے۔

According to LESCO Chief Shahid Haider, the owners of a furnace mill in Shalamar were stealing electricity by installing a mobile transformer. A case has been registered against the accused and detection bill proceedings have been initiated. Shahid Haider said that a few days ago, a large-scale theft of electricity was also caught from a steel mill in the same area.
Both the mills have been fined more than one billion rupees, while detection bill proceedings have also been initiated.
He added that influential electricity thieves are being caught with the help of Rangers.
