Closed-door meeting of the parliamentary committee on national security begins, political and military leadership participates

قومی سلامتی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی کا بند کمرہ اجلاس شروع ہو گیا جس کے سلسلے میں پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس کے اندر اور اطراف میں سخت حفاظتی اقدامات کیے گئے ہیں۔
اجلاس میں اعلیٰ حکومتی اور عسکری قیادت شریک ہے، آرمی چیف جنرل عاصم منیر، ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی عاصم ملک، ڈی جی ایم او اور ڈی جی آئی بی فواد اسد اجلاس میں موجود ہیں۔
وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف، بلاول بھٹو زرداری، مولانا فضل الرحمٰن، وزیرِ دفاع خواجہ آصف، رانا ثناء اللّٰہ، وزیرِ خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب، احسن اقبال، چیئرمین سینیٹ یوسف رضا گیلانی، فیصل واوڈا، خالد مقبول صدیقی، جام کمال، وزیرِ اعظم آزاد کشمیر اور وزیرِ اعلیٰ گلگت بلتستان بھی اجلاس میں شریک ہیں۔
چاروں صوبوں کے وزرائے اعلیٰ، گورنرز اور آئی جی پولیس بھی اجلاس میں شرکت کر رہے ہیں جبکہ وفاقی کابینہ کے 38 اراکین بھی قومی سلامتی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی کے اجلاس میں شریک ہیں۔
پیپلز پارٹی کے 16 اراکین پارلیمنٹ بلاول بھٹو کی سربراہی میں اجلاس میں شریک ہیں۔
مسلم لیگ ق کے 2 اراکین پارلیمنٹ، استحکام پاکستان پارٹی کے عبدالعلیم خان اور نیشنل پارٹی کے سینیٹر جان محمد، مسلم لیگ ضیاء کے اعجازالحق بھی اجلاس میں شریک ہیں۔
ذرائع کے مطابق پی ٹی آئی کے رکن قومی اسمبلی بشیر خان ایوان میں پہنچے اور کچھ دیر رکنے کے بعد واپس چلے گئے جبکہ اجلاس میں سربراہ بی این پی مینگل سردار اختر مینگل کو بھی بلایا گیا ہے لیکن انہوں نے شرکت نہیں کی۔
اجلاس کی صدارت اسپیکر ایاز صادق کر رہے ہیں، انہوں نے قومی سلامتی کے شرکاء کا خیرمقدم کیا، اجلاس کا آغاز تلاوت کلام پاک سے کیا گیا، تلاوت کلام پاک کے بعد قومی ترانہ بجایا گیا۔
اپوزیشن کا رویہ پارلیمانی روایات کے منافی ہے: سپیکر
سپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے ابتدائی خیر مقدمی کلمات میں کہا کہ آج کے اجلاس میں تمام شرکا کو خوش آمدید کہتا ہوں، ملک کو درپیش حالات اتحاد اور ہم آہنگی کے متقاضی ہیں۔
ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ افسوس ہے کہ اپوزیشن نے آج کے اجلاس میں شرکت نہیں کی، ہم نے ان کو بھی دعوت دی تھی اور اچھا ہوتا وہ بھی شریک ہوتے، ہمیں مل کر ملک کو مسائل سے نکالنا ہے، اپوزیشن کا رویہ پارلیمانی روایات کے منافی ہے، انہوں نے آج بھی قوم کو مایوس کیا، انتہائی اہمیت کے حامل اجلاس میں اپوزیشن لیڈر اور ان کی جماعت کو شرکت کرنی چاہیے تھی۔
قوم متحد، دہشت گردی کو ہر صورت شکست دیں گے: وزیراعظم
وزیر اعظم شہبازشریف نے ابتدائی اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے بلوچستان اور خیبر پختونخوا میں سیکیورٹی صورتحال پر اظہار تشویش کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا ہے کہ دہشت گردی کیخلاف جنگ میں پوری قوم متحد ہے اور دہشت گردی کو ہر صورت شکست دیں گے، اچھا ہوتا اگر اپوزیشن کے دوست بھی اہم اجلاس میں شرکت کرتے۔
وزیراعظم کا کہنا تھا کہ سکیورٹی فورسز دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں مسلسل قربانیاں دے رہی ہیں، سکیورٹی فورسز کی قربانیوں کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرتا ہوں۔
اجلاس میں ڈی جی آئی بی کی بریفنگ کے بعد بلاول بھٹو اور دیگر پارلیمانی لیڈر اظہارِ خیال کریں گے، اجلاس میں تقاریر کے بعد سوال و جواب کا بھی سیشن ہو گا، اجلاس میں عسکری قیادت اور انٹیلی جنس اداروں کے سربراہان سوالات کے جوابات دیں گے۔

The closed-door meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security has begun, in connection with which strict security measures have been taken inside and around the Parliament House.
The meeting is attended by top government and military leadership, Army Chief General Asim Munir, DG ISI Asim Malik, DGMO and DG IB Fawad Asad are present in the meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Rana Sanaullah, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahsan Iqbal, Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani, Faisal Vawda, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Jam Kamal, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir and Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan are also attending the meeting.
The Chief Ministers, Governors and IG Police of all four provinces are also attending the meeting, while 38 members of the federal cabinet are also attending the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
16 PPP MPs are attending the meeting under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto.
Two members of parliament from the Muslim League-Q, Abdul Aleem Khan of the Utsharq Pakistan Party and Senator Jan Muhammad of the National Party, and Ijaz-ul-Haq of the Muslim League Zia are also participating in the meeting.
According to sources, PTI Member of National Assembly Bashir Khan reached the house and left after staying for some time, while BNP chief Mengal Sardar Akhtar Mengal was also invited to the meeting but did not attend.
The meeting is being presided over by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who welcomed the participants of the National Security Council. The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After the recitation of the Holy Quran, the national anthem was played.
The opposition’s behavior is contrary to parliamentary traditions: Speaker
Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said in his initial welcoming remarks that he welcomes all the participants in today’s meeting, the situation facing the country requires unity and harmony.
Ayaz Sadiq said that it is a pity that the opposition did not attend today’s meeting, we had also invited them and it would have been good if they had also attended, we have to get the country out of problems together, the opposition’s behavior is against parliamentary traditions, they disappointed the nation even today, the opposition leader and his party should have attended the very important meeting.
Nation united, will defeat terrorism at all costs: Prime Minister
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while making his initial remarks, expressed concern over the security situation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that the entire nation is united in the war against terrorism and will defeat terrorism at all costs, it would have been good if the friends of the opposition had also attended the important meeting.
The Prime Minister said that the security forces are continuously making sacrifices in the war against terrorism, I pay tribute to the sacrifices of the security forces.
After the DGIB’s briefing in the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto and other parliamentary leaders will express their views. After the speeches in the meeting, there will also be a question and answer session. In the meeting, the military leadership and heads of intelligence agencies will answer questions.
