Baisakhi Festival, Khalsa Birth Anniversary celebrations, large number of Indian Sikh pilgrims reach Pakistan

بیساکھی میلہ اور خالصہ جنم دن کی تقریبات میں شرکت کیلئے بھارت سے سکھ یاتریوں کی بڑی تعداد پاکستان پہنچ گئی۔
صوبائی وزیر اقلیتی امور رمیش سنگھ اروڑہ اور دیگر نے واہگہ بارڈر پر یاتریوں کا استقبال کیا، بیساکھی میلے کی مرکزی تقریب 14 اپریل کو گوردوارہ جنم ستھان ننکانہ صاحب میں ہوگی۔
واضح رہے کہ پاکستان نے تاریخی اقدام کرتے ہوئے بھارتی سکھ زائرین کو بیساکھی 2025ء کے موقع پر 6,629 ویزے جاری کئے جو معمول کی تعداد سے دوگنا ہیں، یہ قدم گرو نانک کے جنم استھان ننکانہ صاحب تک رسائی کو یقینی بناتے ہوئے پاکستان کے مذہبی ہم آہنگی کے عزم کا عملی اظہار ہے۔

A large number of Sikh pilgrims from India have arrived in Pakistan to participate in the Baisakhi Mela and Khalsa Janam Dan celebrations.
Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora and others welcomed the pilgrims at the Wagah border. The main event of the Baisakhi Mela will be held at Gurdwara Janmashtami Nankana Sahib on April 14.
It may be noted that Pakistan, in a historic move, issued 6,629 visas to Indian Sikh pilgrims on the occasion of Baisakhi 2025, which is double the usual number. This step is a practical expression of Pakistan’s commitment to religious harmony by ensuring access to Guru Nanak’s birthplace, Nankana Sahib.
