ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ یا کملا ہیرس، امریکا کے نئے صدر کے انتخاب کیلئے پولنگ جاری ہے، انڈیانا، کینٹکی میں ابتدائی نتائج کے مطابق ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کو برتری حاصل ہے۔امریکی میڈیا کے مطابق انڈیا میں ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ ایک لاکھ 83 ہزار 845 ووٹ لیکر آگے ہیں، کملا ہیرس ایک لاکھ 26 ہزار 681 ووٹ لیکرپیچھے ہیں، کینٹکی میں ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کو 55 ہزار 271 ووٹوں سے برتری حاصل ہے، کملا ہیرس 28 ہزار 193 ووٹ لیکر دوسرے نمبر پر ہیں۔
تاہم قبل از وقت پولنگ اور ای میل ووٹنگ کے ذریعے تقریباً 8 کروڑ سے زائد ووٹرز حقِ رائے دہی استعمال کرچکے ہیں۔ امریکہ کے 47 ویں صدر کے چناؤ کیلئے پولنگ جاری ہے، ریپبلکن پارٹی کے امیدوار اور سابق صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ جبکہ ڈیموکریٹس کی جانب سے امریکہ کی موجودہ نائب صدر کملا ہیرس آمنے سامنے ہیں۔
