پولیس کے مطابق وفاقی دارالحکومت اسلام آباد کے علاقے آئی نائن میں ناکہ پر نامعلوم موٹرسائیکل سوار ملزمان نے فائرنگ کر دی جس کے نتیجے میں ٹریفک کانسٹیبل زبیر گولی لگنے سے جام شہادت نوش کر گیا۔
حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ پولیس نے فائرنگ کرنے والے ایک ملزم کو گرفتار کر لیا جبکہ فرار ملزمان کی تلاش کیلئے سرچ آپریشن جاری ہے۔
وفاقی وزیر داخلہ محسن نقوی نے آئی نائن میں ملزمان کی فائرنگ سے ٹریفک پولیس کے شہید جوان زبیر شاہ کو خراج عقیدت جبکہ لواحقین سے دلی ہمدردی و تعزیت کا اظہار کیا ہے۔
محسن نقوی کا کہنا ہے کہ دکھ کی گھڑی میں سوگوار خاندان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔
وفاقی وزیر داخلہ نے افسوسناک واقعہ کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے ملزمان کی جلد گرفتاری کا حکم دیدیا، فائرنگ کرنے والے ملزمان کو فی الفور قانون کی گرفت میں لایا جائے، شہید زبیر شاہ کے خاندان کو انصاف کی فراہمی یقینی بنائیں گے، شہید کے خاندان کی مکمل دیکھ بھال کی جائے گی۔
