Israel’s defense system fails, Yemeni Houthis fire missile at Ben Gurion Airport

یمنی حوثیوں کی جانب سے داغا گیا بیلسٹک میزائل اسرائیل کے مرکزی بن گوریون انٹرنیشنل ائیرپورٹ کے احاطے میں آ گرا۔عرب میڈیا کے مطابق میزائل گرنے کے نتیجے میں ائیر پورٹ کی ایک سڑک اور گاڑی کو نقصان پہنچا اور فضائی آمدورفت عارضی طور پر معطل کر دی گئی، حملے میں 8 افراد زخمی ہوئے۔
اسرائیلی فوج نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ اتوار کی صبح داغے گئے میزائل کو روکنے کی متعدد کوششوں کے باوجود اسرائیلی دفاعی نظام اسے تباہ کرنے میں ناکام رہا۔
حوثیوں کے عسکری ترجمان یحییٰ سریع نے اس حملے کے بعد ائیرلائنز کو خبردار کیا ہے کہ بن گوریون ائیرپورٹ اب فضائی سفر کے لیے محفوظ نہیں رہا، بیلسٹک میزائل نے اپنے ہدف کو کامیابی سے نشانہ بنایا اور امریکی اور اسرائیلی فضائی دفاعی نظام اسے گرانے میں ناکام رہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ میزائل حملے کے نتیجے میں 30 لاکھ سے زائد اسرائیلی میزائل حملوں سے بچاؤ کے لیے بنائے گئے شیلٹرز میں پناہ لینے میں مجبور ہوئے جبکہ ایک گھنٹے سے زائد وقت تک بن گوریون ائیرپورٹ بھی بند رہا۔یہ حملہ ایسے وقت میں ہوا ہے جب یمن میں امریکی فوج کی جانب سے روزانہ کی بنیاد پر بمباری جاری ہے۔

A ballistic missile fired by Yemeni Houthis landed inside Israel’s main Ben Gurion International Airport. According to Arab media, the missile hit a road and a vehicle at the airport and temporarily suspended air traffic. Eight people were injured in the attack.
The Israeli military confirmed that despite multiple attempts to intercept the missile launched on Sunday morning, the Israeli defense system failed to destroy it.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree warned airlines after the attack that Ben Gurion Airport was no longer safe for air travel, the ballistic missile successfully hit its target and American and Israeli air defense systems failed to shoot it down.
He added that as a result of the missile attack, more than 3 million Israelis were forced to take refuge in shelters built to protect against missile attacks, while Ben Gurion Airport was also closed for more than an hour. The attack came at a time when the US military is bombing Yemen on a daily basis.
